The Coquitlam Sports Complex is the largest soft landscape installation completed by Shangri-la Landscaping. Our work began in Coquitlam during the late winter of 2008 with activities at the adjacent Poirier Library. In summer 2009 Shangri-La won the bid to complete the landscape construction around the newly renovated Poirier Library. Upon completion the opportunity was presented to bid on the Coquitlam Sports Complex.

Shangri-La was awarded this contract in fall 2009. The project completed on time with the master schedule in fall 2010. The two projects covered nearly 3 city square blocks. Hundreds of cubic yards of soil were placed, over 20,000 square feet of turf was installed and thousands of plants were planted.
